	Our version of the famous chocolate Sacher cake from Vienna. This delicious chocolate cake is filled by hand with a layer of the highest quality apricot jam. The top of the cake is spread with almond paste and punsch truffle* and smothered with dark chocolate. Serve with a portion of unsweetened whipped cream. *Punsch truffle = Cream and chocolate mixed with punsch, a traditional Swedish dessert liqueur.

Delicious too, I heard!

Thanks so much for the Sacher cake you baked for my daughter's b-day. It made it on time promptly and although it was a hot day in California it arrived in a perfect shape. My daughter took the cake to her school and all her friends were very impressed of the Scandinavian cake and the way it arrived. Delicious too, I heard.

This unusual cake is a very special find!. It has various flavors and textures that delight the taste buds and make for a very satisfying dessert. Although not large enough to bring for a crowd, it is perfect as a thank you gift, to send to someone you love, or enjoy with your family.
