SWEDISH "POSTKAKAN" EXPANDS ITS BUSINESS IN THE U.S. SIGNS PARTNERSHIP WITH MAJOR LOS ANGELES BAKERY Bo Sundstrom, the creative Swedish konditor behind the Postcake concept, is celebrating the Postcake’s 10th anniversary by signing an agreement with Los Angeles-based Rossmoor Pastries to bake and distribute the Postcake in North America. It has been ten years since Bo Sundstrom received the top prize with his Postnöt recipe in the Swedish Postal Service’s contest to bake a cake that was delicious and easy to send by mail. Sundstrom’s winning entry has been a huge success, with more than 200,000 Postcakes mailed to 70 countries from his bakery in Sweden. The Postcake was tested in the American market during a two-year period, and the positive response from customers showed a need for more production space. Today, the Postcake Company launched a partnership to benefit the American Lung Association. Ten percent of Postcake Co. proceeds from the sale of designated cakes will support the American Lung Association’s mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

Not only will the American Lung Association receive a portion of the proceeds, but the program enables Postcake customers to get an additional 10 percent off or free shipping during the holiday season.
